Kevin Durant was right in LeBron James' face, protecting him as best he could. Ten seconds left now as LeBron starts driving. Kevin stays right on him and forces an off-balance shot and snatches the rebound. Five seconds left as Durant throws the ball up the court with LeBron on his tail. Three seconds left now as Durant starts to pull up for a mid-range shot. One second left and Kevin Durant is at the highest point of his jump. He releases the ball sweetly but, out of nowhere, LeBron blocks the shot solidly from behind as the buzzer sounds. They were going into overtime. There are many things you can compare and contrast about LeBron James and Kevin Durant, who are arguably the two best players in the NBA. LeBron and Kevin are similar in many ways. One of the biggest comparisons is that they play small forward. A small forward or three, as some call it, is like an intermediate player in size. The small forward is normally much taller than the point guard and shooting guard, but mostly smaller than a power forward or center. LeBron and Kevin both led the league in scoring at one time in their careers. Kevin and LeBron averaged twenty-eight to thirty points per game when they won these awards. They are also some of the best rebounders and defenders in the league. To be a good rebounder and defender, the basketball player must be tall, fast or strong. So, it would make sense that they are good at rebounding and defending because they are tall, fast and strong. Both were selected in the first round of the NBA draft. It's really hard for a basketball player to be drafted in the first round, but this shows how good he is. Both teams obviously liked that the two stars were... in the center of the card... Tie with ten seconds left. LeBron James slowly dribbled across the court as the clock ticked away. He hesitated and then quickly drove past Kevin Durant. Over half the field now, with three seconds to go. LeBron knew he only had time to raise a deep prayer from the outside. When he stopped, Kevin was charging from behind as he dropped the depth bomb. Kevin slapped the ball from behind and the buzzer sounded. They were headed for another overtime. This game was no longer a five-on-five matchup. It was one on one. LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant.
