In today's world, many teachers don't care if they can capture kids' attention. They simply want to get through the day and get their paycheck. Some may not care if the student is focused and really absorbing the information. This is why some students fall behind. Some students have certain needs in order to learn more effectively. Students need to be able to interact, have realistic examples of what they are learning and every student has a different way of learning, which every teacher should discover. This way today's students will grow up to be someone in life and will not wander lost in life. This is why teachers should try to connect with students to create a better learning experience. Many teachers today teach by putting up a Powerpoint with lots of notes and having them copy it. They believe that by simply passing the information on to them they will learn it and be able to apply it. This may work for some students, but by doing so you are not interacting with the students and not to mention boring them to death. If teachers tried to interact more with students, they wouldn't get distracted, fall asleep, or completely lose themselves in the learning process. Teachers should try to add fun, interactive and realistic activities. Without certain types of activities students find the information they are learning useless and need to be able to relate things learned in class to the outside world. All teachers should strive to create an intangible connection with each student. Every student should see their teacher or professor as a friend, not an enemy, who they can trust and relate to. Teachers you need to make a student want to be in class and to make them want to learn. Man... middle of paper ...... and pay attention to the material being taught, no matter how a teacher is, acts or teaches and that their future is at stake. This is very true and I agree with this statement, but teaching is also the job of teachers and it is also their job at stake. Teachers should see their students as a blessing and be happy that they have achieved their dreams and not see students as a hindrance. Teachers should love their job, after all that's why they became teachers. Bottom line, teachers today are slowing down more than usual. Teachers need to connect, relax, and get to know each of their students. I thank all the teachers who get up early every morning and go to work with a smile on their faces. This is for all the teachers out there who need to stop staring at their phones and computers and get up, get active and brighten their students' day.
