Endih was a place of cold and sadness. My father and mother were killed by a Kalag, a horrible beast. My father was a very powerful man. He was the ruler of our frozen planet. When he died, I became the ruler, but I was very young, too young. I had no idea what I was doing. Endih was in chaos. 10 years later I was much older and wiser. Maybe not much wiser. The War of a Thousand Worlds had begun. Fear coursed through the veins of the Endih people. I was very scared, too scared to stay away from the war. General Tenko landed his ship in one of my larger cities. People had gathered around the shining ship. It had a smooth, chipped finish. The crowd whispered among themselves as the hatch lowered. There was a bright light as a figure descended. It was Tenko, he was wearing a military uniform and had his hands behind his back. Tenko had a strangely sad face, that's what made me trust him. My sister and I were in front of the crowd. The General approached us. "Oh, is that you, Lord Ya'Tye?" Tenko asked, her pale skin blending in with the snow. “Hello, General Tenko,” I said. My sister stood next to me with a blank expression, looking like she didn't like Tenko. "I would like to talk to you in your castle," Tenko said, looking behind her, "Alone," I said goodbye to my sister and continued towards the palace without her. The building was tall, chipped and blue. We walked on a brick path covered in snow. It led to the castle door. When the guard at the top of the wall saw us, he began to raise the lattice. We continued. Once inside the palace, the general followed me, examining the curtains and paintings. We entered the meeting room. It had eight chairs and a long silver table. “So, my lord, will you join us?” He asked, w... middle of paper... I hated that place. The general took off his jacket and sat down on the bed. The Lord was kind enough to let him stay in the palace. Tenko took off her shoes, throwing them on the floor. He rubbed his knuckles and lay down. He stared at the ceiling and began to remember things he wanted to forget. Tenko had a mother and a father. They were kind and gave him everything he asked for. His mother cooked him breakfast every morning and his father read the news. One day, Tenko went out to get some water. When he returned, the house was destroyed. Tenko searched the rubble of his house and found two bodies. Tenko shook her head and closed her eyes. He would try to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night. I thought I felt something touch my face, when I opened my eyes I saw nothing but the ceiling above. I didn't think about it and went back to sleep.
