These children are more likely to become victims of child abuse, lifelong fears (Strawbridge, 2014). Providing parents with awareness of the need for love and affection to give to their children from infancy is an important role of the nurse who interacts with families before the birth of their children. Community nursing can be one of the key components in breaking the cycle of child abuse before it begins and providing protection to a child in need by recognizing the signs and symptoms of sexual abuse early in their life.
