STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Qualification: B-Tech (Electronic and Communications Engineering) I have always believed in the fact that we are never done with education as long as we breathe, or so to speak in tangible terms, life is an endless school session, a continuous process. I believe that education and training is not only in the long-term interest of oneself, but also in the overall development of society. Therefore, the saying of expanding one's know-how through continuous learning and discovery has always fascinated me and is the only motivating factor that convinces me to thrive for higher education. The decision to pursue graduate studies in Electrical Engineering is one of the most significant decisions of my career. My thought process for graduate studies was not accomplished in a day, nor in a month or a year, but was supported by my passion for electrical engineering throughout my education and graduate studies. Since my childhood I have had a strong inclination to understand the functioning of electrical equipment such as radio, television, telephone etc. I was fascinated by small chips that can perform wonderful tasks; later, knowing it a little, I was amazed by its ability to accommodate millions of electronic components inside. This constant demand leads to a thirst for VLSI and as a result I concentrated a lot in this field but my thirst was not quenched even during my university studies. I realized that only a university study will serve the purpose. A university course, although complete in its curriculum, provides limited space for specialization. To help you better understand my current goals, I would like to explain my educational experience up to this point in my academic life. I have completed my 10th......half of the work......sors, Friends and senior students of mine studying in USA, your university has been highly recommended for its excellent faculty and learning experience. I always believe that the essence of university education lies in the synergistic relationship between the student and his department. I feel that graduate study at your university will be the most logical extension of my goals. I am confident that the sound education I receive at your university will serve me well throughout my career. Finally I would be grateful if I were granted the opportunity to continue my graduate studies at your esteemed university and look forward to becoming a part of your graduate program.
