Lively. Concentrated. Energetic. These are the words I would use to describe myself, because I know they reflect the progress I have made in my life. During my time at school, I found various topics difficult to learn. Until one day I tried to learn a topic with a creative approach and was surprised to see that it worked. Over time all things creative, other people's perspectives and imaginative approaches have influenced me. Say no to plagiarism. My future will see me pursue the path of a successful 21st century artist with my styles ranging from comics to digital art. Studying Graphic Design at university level would be a great starting point for the adventure of a lifetime and will give me the opportunity to further learn the subject and develop my skills in creative software which will help me develop my portfolio. Shepard Fairey, Andy Warhol, Julian Opie, Walt Disney, Banksy and Stan Lee are the artists I turn to for inspiration. Their styles are unique and, in most cases, they can express strong messages, concepts and ideas in a creative way to captivate the audience. That's what I like about these artists. In my recreational hours I am as creative as my personality. Drawing by hand and writing with my own means like comics are my main hobbies. This course resonates with my personality and influences as I can creatively fulfill a brief and produce videos that convey ideas and perspectives. The IT course aided my development in understanding digital imaging software where I was able to follow briefs and produce high quality work as a result. Business has helped me develop my employability skills, from teamwork to problem solving. My art course allowed me to be creative and produce final pieces relating to a given brief. The skills I have acquired from my studies are vital to Graphic Design. My innovative approach to responding to briefs, my experience with Adobe Creative software is producing visually exciting pieces and my employability skills for presenting ideas and working with other people. Using my personality and skills, I have helped various clients with their promotional materials. I produced advertising for events in Madeley and helped promote a regeneration project for The Clifton (a community arts center in Telford). I participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities and organized and managed events. These include a fancy dress football match and running a stall at a business convention, both of which have been successful in raising money for charity. Additionally, I was also part of the Youth Climate Coalition (formerly known as Youth Climate Change), which has.
