Growing up, I always had a desire to become a doctor. But, during my 2010 graduate application to Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), I was introduced to the medical laboratory profession. I discovered that it is not a very well-known profession with so much potential. So, I aimed to excel! Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? They told me that the only thing I would do in the future was acquire body samples and run them through a machine. I always try to prove that my profession is worthwhile. I did this by trying to convince my colleagues in the profession of its importance or by excelling in my career. As you might notice from my grades, I wanted to change this view. I wanted to get a high score, understand every aspect, and examine the many ways medical science can change in my country. While training at King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), I noticed how lab technicians are not given credit for what they do. I, and many others, provided doctors with results that helped them reach the diagnosis! I chose Biomedical Science for many reasons. First, no other university in my country offers such a program, especially one that has all the courses I plan to take, such as stem cell biology, neuroscience, drug discovery, and cancer biology. Secondly, it gives me a chance to demonstrate that the medical laboratory is growing and it would be a privilege if I were the one to move it to Jordan. Finally, it gives me the advantage of becoming the first medical researcher in Jordan to study Medical Laboratory and Biomedical Sciences. I want to use this advantage by inspiring other lab technicians to aim higher in life and use it to join with other professionals to help eliminate disease. Please note: this is just a sample. And although it would be a privilege to study this program at any UK university, I chose the three universities listed because they have the courses I want to take and to help my country and they offer an amazing welcome to international students with world-class teaching.
